MY ARTIFACTS
Below are 3 new technologies I have learned to use throughout my studies in EDUC 5203 Photo reference (left) Nunnovation Contributor (2017). The advantages and disadvantages of technology transfer. ARTIFACT 2: Digital Hall PassClick on THIS LINK to be taken to my very own digital hall pass.
I made a Google Form with the questions you will see when you use the QR Code. I then took the URL of the google form and made a QR code that would send you to that URL using this website: https://www.qr-code-generator.com/ Now my students can scan the hall pass (all they have to do is open their camera, scan over the QR code and a box will pop up that they can click on bringing them to my form. You don't have to actually take a picture, you just scan over it as if you are going to) to leave and enter the room and when they do their responses are recorded for me and I can go in and make a spreadsheet to see who left, what time, how often are they leaving, how long were they gone for, where were they going, and so on. You can make the form include other questions if you'd like (what class are you leaving might be a good question if you teach multiple subjects) |
ARTIFACT 3: "Video Screen Capture"Click on THIS LINK to be taken to my screen capture video.
I use a program called mimio studio on a daily basis to make notes on the board, and it translates those notes onto my computer which I then save to a PDF file to post on my website for my students. However, what the students see is always the final version of the notes. For this artifact I was able to do a video screen capture using mimio. I have never done this before and I think in Math this will be more helpful for my students than the final image because they will be able to see the process I took to get to the answer. |
